The Land of Extinct Volcanoes is an informal but already established term for a part of Lower Silesia, located between Legnica, Jelenia G\u00f3ra, and Strzegom, characterized by the presence of rocks of volcanic origin<\/strong>. Currently, we do not have active volcanoes in Poland, and the last volcanic eruptions in Polish lands occurred several million years ago. The geological record of volcanism, however, is very rich and spans approximately half a billion years<\/strong>, with the most complete expression found in the Land of Extinct Volcanoes…<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

The Land of Extinct Volcanoes Geopark has its own visual identification<\/strong> that can be used when preparing promotional materials for the region.<\/p>\n

The logo of the Land of Extinct Volcanoes Geopark is a registered symbol<\/strong>, and its use requires the prior approval of the coordinator – the Kaczawskie Association<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
